The NAACP’s annual convention is set to take place in South Boston from July 26 to August 1 and is expected to bring in more than $10 million.

Boston had been chosen twice previously to host the convention, once in 1911 and again in 2020 — but the 2020 in-person convention was cancelled and transferred online because to the COVID-19 pandemic.
