A delegation set up by the Senate and led by the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Ali Ndume, paid a condolence visit to the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, at the Government House, Katsina, on Monday, 17th July 2023.
During the visit Senator Ali Ndume stated that they were in Katsina to commiserate with business mogul and Chairman of Max Air Limited, Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal, whose wife, Hajiya Aisha Mangal, died on Saturday evening
Furthermore, he congratulated the governor on his swearing-in as the Executive Governor of the state and applauded his impressive outings so far in office, which according to him ‘You have started on the right path and you have hit the ground running’. He urged him to sustain the tempo for the benefit of the people of Katsina State.
The Governor in his remarks, thanked the Senators for the visit and described the deceased as an important personality and role model who would be dearly missed by the lives she positively touched while she was alive.
The delegation comprised of Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Senator Danjuma Goje, Senator Kawu Sumaila, Senator Muntari Dandutse, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, Senator Ifeanyi Uba, Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, and Senator Ishaku Abbo among others.
