Police have recovered a stolen N55m Benz in Delta.

The recovery of a N55 million Mercedes Benz GLB 250 stolen by a prospective buyer has been confirmed by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.
Daily Post reported how a car dealer, Mohammed Manga, raised the alert when a suspect named simply as Henry, who disguised himself as a customer, absconded with the vehicle while it was being tested in the FCT.
Mohammed claimed that one of his pals, who is also a car dealer, took the Mercedes Benz to a prospective customer (Henry) for sale but that difficulty began when Henry demanded to test-drive the automobile after the price was agreed upon at N55 million.
He, on the other hand, took off with the car and has not been seen since.
Following that, the FCT command declared Henry wanted.
SP Josephine Adeh, the command’s spokesman, told DAILY POST on Wednesday night that the automobile had been recovered in Delta State.
The recovery of the stolen vehicle by the Delta State Command, she claims, “is an indication of the collaborative efforts of the Police across the board.”
“The FCT Command had previously initiated a discrete investigation into the incident, and alerted other Commands, which resulted in the vehicle’s recovery,” she continued.
