KATSINA STATE – July 19, 2023 – Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Hijrah 1445, which coincides with the first day of the Islamic lunar calendar, Muharram 1445. Governor Radda urges everyone to reflect upon the significance of this day and embrace its timeless lessons in their daily lives and interactions with others.
Hijrah, marking the migration of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, from Mecca in search of a peaceful environment to practice Islam, holds historical importance. It serves as a reminder for all individuals to adopt the virtues of patience, perseverance, tolerance, moderation, and compassion.
