Kaduna Police Apprehend Man Responsible for Fratricide and Capture 502 Other Suspected Criminals

In an impressive display of law enforcement, the Kaduna State Police Command has taken into custody 503 individuals involved in a wide range of criminal activities, including banditry, cattle rustling, culpable homicide, and related offenses.

During a public announcement on Thursday, DSP Muhammed Jalidge, the spokesperson for the Command, revealed the significant arrests made within a span of just one month.

Among the individuals paraded was Ismail Mohammed, a resident of Maijere Village in Saminaka, situated in the Lere local government area of the state. Mohammed stands accused of kidnapping his own brother, Kabiru Mohammed, and subsequently taking his life, despite the family paying a ransom of N120,000.

Jalidge further reported that numerous weapons, as well as a substantial amount of money, were seized from the suspects.

“The Police Command remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of law-abiding citizens in Kaduna State. In fulfilling this duty, we have successfully apprehended a total of 503 suspects involved in various crimes, including armed banditry, robbery, snatch theft, cattle rustling, culpable homicide, rape, burglary, theft, vandalism of railway tracks, and other related offenses,” stated Jalidge.
