At a vigil held at Julia Budzinski’s high school in Virginia on Sunday night, Monica Budzinski, who claims to have been on the boat with her daughter, said, “It was a very pleasant, wonderful last day on earth for her.” “Sadly, of course… However, it was joyful, humorous, and enjoyable, and that is how I will remember her and how everyone else should remember her. She adored everything—life, the outdoors, sports, everything.
She will continue to exist through all of you.
Pearson said there is no evidence of wrongdoing. Alcohol was not a factor, and life jackets were worn.
