Watch how a man gives cops the slip after being stopped at gunpoint.

According to a video acquired by Fox News Digital, a New York man appeared to assault an NYPD officer and fled on foot after being stopped at gunpoint mere blocks from from Manhattan’s Central Park on Wednesday afternoon.

On E 59th St. between Park and Lexington Ave., three cops can be seen approaching a red Toyota vehicle with pistols drawn and motioning for the passengers to out.

“Show me your hands!” says the narrator. “Get out of the automobile!” says the narrator. As they opened the doors, the police could be heard shouting.

The driver appeared to comply at first, and he was brought around the rear of the vehicle.

When one of the officers tried to arrest him, he turned around, pushed the officer, and ran down Lexington Ave.

A guy in the passenger seat was handcuffed and carried out of the car, while a woman was removed from the rear seat.

The man who tried to run was apprehended afterwards.
