At least six individuals were killed in a mass shooting in Sacramento.

According to authorities, at least six people were killed and ten others were injured in a mass shooting in downtown Sacramento on Sunday – and the suspect has yet to be identified.
The Sacramento Police Department tweeted around 8 a.m. that officers on the scene had “located at least 15 shooting victims, including 6 who are deceased” in the early morning incident.
Around 2 a.m. Sunday, police officers patrolling the area heard an unknown number of gunshots fired and came across a “large crowd,” according to Police Chief Kathy Lester.
Just before the devastation, a brawl looked to have broken out in a nearby nightclub.
“This is a truly awful circumstance,” she said, adding that ten people were either taken or self-transported to nearby hospitals.
The conditions of the ten people shot were not immediately known, and no updates had been published as of Sunday afternoon. It’s unknown how many shooters were involved.
