Atiku officially declares his candidacy for President in 2023.

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential contender in the 2019 general elections, has officially registered his interest in the 2023 presidential election.
In a video uploaded on YouTube by a former presidential adviser, Reno Omokri, the former vice president claimed while meeting with certain stakeholders.
According to Atiku, he has the expertise necessary to lead Nigeria through its current issues.
“We are in one of the most challenging and difficult periods in our country’s history,” he remarked. Insecurity caused by poverty Unemployment and insecurity
“Nigerians have never needed serious leadership more than they do now.”
“The PDP is in a better position to provide Nigerians with the leadership they desire.” That’s what I’d like to present. I’d want to propose solutions to our issues.
“I’ve worked at both the lowest and highest levels. As Vice President of Nigeria, I was instrumental in the country’s transition.
“As a businessman, I’ve solved Grassroots issues by employing thousands of people.”
He went on to say that the PDP, the primary opposition party, is in a better position to provide Nigerians with desired leadership.

Atiku expressed confidence in securing the PDP presidential ticket during a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo last week.
Similarly, on March 3, 2022, Dele Momodu, a PDP presidential candidate, informed journalists that he is more certain than Atiku in gaining the party’s nomination.
